Black Chook Shiraz is rich, bold and unmistakably McLaren Vale — loaded with dark fruit, soft spice and smooth tannins.
Produced by Ben Riggs in South Australia’s McLaren Vale region, this Shiraz leans into the fuller-bodied style the area is known for. Ripe plum, dark cherry and sweet spice sit over a plush texture with subtle oak influence and lingering warmth.
The palate is soft and rounded with generous dark fruit, gentle tannins and notes of liquorice and vanilla spice through the finish. Full-bodied without becoming overly heavy, it keeps its balance and drinkability.
At 14.5% ABV, this is a warming, flavour-packed Shiraz that works especially well alongside richer meals and colder nights.
