Sessions Box Hill is a neighbourhood bottle shop and bar in the heart of Box Hill,
Melbourne. We’re here for the locals who take their drinks seriously — whether
you’re picking up a bottle on your way home, joining us for a tasting, or
exploring something new.
Our Story
20 years ago we opened Whitehorse Liquor, providing different brews and drinks to the community, but it wasn't what we were after. So we sat down and wrote out our dream, thus Sessions was born. A bottle shop and a bar where we can show everything we couldnt before, and be able to introduce Whitehorse to things they have never had before.
Whitehorse Liquor, where we started
Our little shop has been servicing the Box Hill community for many years. We started out simple, and as the years progressed we expanded into new products and categories. But that still wasn't enough — we wanted to source the unique flavours you can't find everywhere, and give people the chance to actually try them.
What Makes Sessions Different
Box Hill is one of Melbourne’s most vibrant and multicultural communities — and our
range reflects that. You’ll find one of Melbourne’s best curated selections of
Japanese sake and Asian spirits alongside premium whiskies, natural wines,
craft beers, and everything in between.
We’re not a big chain. We know our products, we know our customers, and we genuinely
care about connecting you with something you’ll love. Come in and ask us what’s

What we stock
Our range covers Japanese sake, Japanese and international whisky, craft beer,
wine, gin, rum, vodka, liqueurs, and non-alcoholic options. We stock both
everyday favourites and harder-to-find bottles from producers we believe in.
