HITACHINO Hinomaru Whisky 1st Edition 700mL
🥃 Celebrating 200 years of sake brewing, Kiuchi Brewery introduces Hinomaru Whisky, marking a new chapter in Japanese whisky craftsmanship. This 1st Edition combines locally grown barley, wheat, and rice from Ibaraki, distilled at both the column still Nukada Distillery and the pot still Yasato Distillery.
Produced by Kiuchi Brewing And Distilling in Ibaraki, Japan, the whisky matures at the eastern base of Mt. Tsukuba. The unchill filtered process enhances its distinct character, offering a smooth, complex profile that reflects the unique terroir of the region.
The palate delivers a balanced interplay of sweetness and oak, with touches of tutti frutti notes emerging especially when enjoyed with a splash of water. The whisky remains youthful yet layered, providing a dynamic tasting experience.
At 48% ABV, Hinomaru Whisky is robust yet approachable, perfect for neat sipping or on the rocks.
