One Drop In Your Head DIPA 440mL β Saturated Hops, Thick Haze
πΊ Big, hazy and loaded with hop saturation, In Your Head is a DIPA that goes straight for impact. One Drop builds this one around thick body, bright tropical fruit and a soft, juicy finish, giving it the kind of full-on hop character that feels plush rather than sharp.
Brewed by One Drop Brewing Co. in Botany, Sydney, this release was built out of the breweryβs R&D program and takes its cue from the ultra-saturated hoppy ales they were chasing. Extra pale malt and more than 50% oat adjuncts give it a dense, luscious base, while a 35g/L dry hop of Citra, Citra CRYO, Nectarom CRYO and hand-selected Nelson Sauvin drives the fruit and aroma hard.
The palate is thick, juicy and full-bodied, with tropical fruit, citrus and ripe white grape notes pushing through a soft hazy middle. It carries real weight, but the hop load keeps it lively and dangerously drinkable. At 8% ABV, it lands exactly where a modern DIPA should β bold, plush and built to be savoured cold.
