🍺 Pear turned all the way up — Double Take Double Pear is One Drop going oversized, overripe and completely unapologetic with a sour built to hit like orchard fruit concentrate.

Brewed by One Drop Brewing Co, this Double Fruited Imperial Sour Ale comes in a 440mL can at 10% ABV. Loaded with over two ripe pears per can, it’s pushed into one of the brewery’s richest fruit-driven sour bases with double lacto and a boosted ABV for maximum density and impact.

This is not a bright, lean sour. It pours thick and silky, with a lush orchard-fruit body that drives fresh pear straight to the front. The texture lands dense and smoothie-like, while the acidity stays soft enough to lift the fruit rather than cut through it, giving the beer a plush, almost dessert-like shape from start to finish.

At 10% ABV, this sits firmly in imperial territory — a big can for drinkers who want serious fruit loading, heavy texture and a sour that feels closer to full dessert than casual crusher.

Why We Like It

• Pear is pushed absolutely to the front with huge fruit intensity
• Dense, silky body gives it proper imperial sour weight
• Double lacto and boosted ABV make it feel rich and full rather than sharp
• A genuinely distinctive orchard-fruit profile compared with the usual tropical sour run
• Big talking-point can for One Drop fans and sour collectors
• Built for slow pours and maximum flavour impact

How to Serve

Serve well chilled and give the can a gentle roll before pouring to lift the full smoothie texture. Best enjoyed cold in a glass to let the pear intensity and body fully open up.

Food Pairing

• Pear tart or frangipane
• Baked cheesecake
• Soft blue cheese or triple cream brie
• Salty crisps for contrast

Serve cold and let the pear do all the shouting.
